Surge Protection
The surge suppression and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) equipment sold through Barron Electric is UL listed and can protect your electronic equipment from surge damage. The
following products are available:
Belkin ® MasterCube (#351)
This single outlet surge protector with telephone connections is ideal for fax machines,
mainstreet messenger phones, cordless telephones, answering machines, laptops or any other
device requiring protection of the telephone line and one AC cord. It has a $10,000 connected
equipment warranty and a lifetime product warranty.
Belkin ® One-outlet Surge Cube (#355)
This protector is ideal for equipment with only one cord and no other connections to the outside
world (garage door openers and microwave ovens). It has a $5,000 connected equipment
warranty and a lifetime product warranty.
Surge Master 3-Outlet (#357)
Surge Master 3-Outlet (#357)
This is a three-outlet surge protector with two telephone connections (line in and two lines out),
which provides protection for two devices on a SINGLE phone line.
Powermax® Tel (#353)
This surge suppressor is ideal for computer applications. The unit has eight AC power
outlets and an in/out connection for telephone lines to your modem. This product carries a
manufacturer’s lifetime product warranty and a $200,000 connected equipment warranty.
Uninterruptible Power System Powerware 3105 (500/700VA) (#350)
The Powerware 3105 product line provides eight surge protected outlets, four of which also
provide power to a computer for up to 20 minutes in the event of a power outage allowing time
to save files and shut down the computer. Telephone/network surge protection is also provided.
These units are also well suited to protecting cash registers and other point of sale electronic
equipment.
Meter Base (#356)
Meter base style surge suppressor is for use with standard meter sockets. This
features an indicator light and a buzzer that alarms if the unit is damaged. A fifteen-year product
and $1,000 per white appliance up to $10,000.
Service Entrance (#359)
This product has a LIFETIME product warranty and a $5,000 connected equipment warranty on
white appliances.
