CustomersFirst! - Customers First! is an alliance of customer, labor, environmental and business groups, municipalities, retirees, low-income advocates, small electric providers, two wholesale electric suppliers and one investor-owned utility. This diverse group was formed in 1996 to work for regulatory reform that made sense for Wisconsin, in contrast to those promoting radical deregulation. The coalition continues to work together to represent tens of thousands of Wisconsin customers and businesses who support energy policies that:

Take Action Network - The Take Action Network provides information on federal and state legislative issues relating to rural electric cooperatives. The site allows you to access information on Wisconsin lawmakers, view federal and state views, and even see how your legislators voted.

National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) - The NRECA is the national organization dedicated to representing the interests of electrical cooperatives and the consumers they serve. Their home page provides news on legislation and other issues relating to rural electric cooperatives.

Wisconsin Electric Cooperative Association (WECA) - The Wisconsin Electric Cooperative Association, founded in 1936, was the first electric co-op statewide association in the nation. They were also leaders in organizing the Rural Electric Supply Cooperative. In 1940, they began the nation's first rural electric statewide publication for consumer-members, which is now called Wisconsin Energy Cooperative News.
