Barron Electric is excited to announce a new incentive program on the following Energy Star rated appliances:

Energy Star Refrigerator	$25
Energy Star Clothes Washer	$50
Energy Star Room Air Conditioner	$25, not controlled under load management

Energy Star Refrigerator
Energy Star qualified refrigerators require about half as much energy as models manufactured before 1993. Energy Star models use high efficiency compressors, improved insulation, and more precise temperature and defrost mechanisms to improve energy efficiency.

Energy Star Clothes Washer
An Energy Star qualified clothes washer can save $550 in operating costs over its lifetime compared to a regular clothes washer. They are also better for the environment because less energy is being used and less water goes to waste.

Energy Star Room Air Conditioner
The Energy Star room air conditioner uses at least 10% less energy than conventional models. They often include timers for better temperature control, using the minimum amount of energy to cool a room.

Program Requirements

Equipment must be connected to an electric service provided by Barron Electric Cooperative
There is a limit of 1 rebate per item per account
Claim form must be completed
Copy of invoice
Copy of the yellow Energy Guide tag displaying the Energy Star symbol
Equipment must be purchased in 2008, and proof of purchase submitted prior to 12-15-08
