Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficient Lighting

Providing ample, task-oriented lighting has been shown to impact employee productivity. A well-lit work area reduces eyestrain and employee fatigue, creates a safer working environment and even boosts employee morale. This special lighting rebate program is offered to help improve the efficiency of existing, retrofit only, lighting systems. Three types of energy efficient lighting systems qualify for the following incentives:

Electronically Ballasted Fluorescent Fixtures	$6.50 per ballast
Metal Halide Fixtures	$10.00 per fixture
Sodium Vapor Fixtures	$10.00 per fixture

Ballasts and fixtures must be hard-wired to qualify. Any combination of five ballasts or fixtures is required as a minimum. There is a maximum of $10,000 in rebates per customer per year. Rebates are not available on new construction.

This program is offered in conjunction with Dairyland Power Cooperative, Barron Electric's power supplier. Barron Electric members must meet eligibility requirements including credit. Program expires 12-15-08. Equipment must be purchased in 2008, and proof of purchase submitted prior to 12-15-08.
