Safety First!
Dairy Farm Rewiring Grant and Loan Program
Purpose: To assist dairy farmers with the cost of rewiring projects and promote safety.
Effective: October 1, 2002
Loan/Grant Description:- Up to and including $20,000 is available with a grant/loan combination
- 20% or up to $4,000 is available from WECA grants
- 80% or up to $16,000 is available from loans
- Up to 10 years to repay
- 5% interest
- Dairy Farms Only
- Existing Homestead
- Credit Eligibility (no more than one late payment in the past 12 months)
- Pre-project Inspection by a State Certified Inspector
- Electrician's Estimate from a Master Electrician
- Post-project Inspection by a State Certified Inspector
- Service Agreement for Length of Loan
